CERIC will be partnering with select associations and organizations across Canada to present a series of ½-day professional development events, beginning in the spring of 2012. These “Mini-Forums” are intended to engage career practitioners in the communities where they work and provide valuable, cost-effective learning opportunities.

Topics and presenters for the Mini-Forums will vary based on local needs and current issues of most interest. Working with regional bodies aligns with CERIC’s “collaborative” approach and helps to strengthen the network of career development professionals throughout the country. It is CERIC’s intent to provide seed funding for the Mini-Forums for two years and then for the events to be sustainable.

Stay tuned for announcements on dates and locations of upcoming Mini-Forums. If you are part of a group that is interested in working with CERIC to host a Mini-Forum, please contact Riz Ibrahim, CERIC’s Vice-President and General Manager at riz@ceric.ca.
