Voting in the National Challenge to Promote Career Development has ended with a remarkable 4,500 votes cast for the Top 10 Finalists. The top 3 winners will be announced on January 6, 2014, and each will receive $5,000 and a free registration to the Cannexus14 National Career Development Conference.

Finalists were selected by a panel of judges from Canada’s career development community based on the innovation, practicality and potential impact of the entries. Online voting was open from November 4-29 for people to choose their favourite ideas among the Top 10. A total of 80 creative entries were originally submitted. All the ideas remain open for browsing and comment.

In recognition of CERIC’s 10th anniversary in 2014, The Counselling Foundation of Canada has provided a grant to create the National Challenge. The competition aims to “crowdsource” ideas that will demonstrate to Canadians that career development matters.
