Following a successful Mini-Forum in Prince George, BC, CERIC is partnering once again with the British Columbia Career Development Association to host a Career Development Mini-Forum on January 16, 2015 in Nanaimo.

With a theme of “Inspiring Hope, Rekindling Passion,” the full-day event brings together two leading experts in career development research and practice:

  • Gray Poehnell, “Diversity Improv” and “The ‘Unsung’ Potential of Weakness”
  • Peter Bailey, “Passion, Power Planning”

Over the past three years, CERIC has been partnering with select associations and organizations across Canada to present a series of continuing education events. These Mini-Forums are intended to engage career development professionals in the communities where they work and provide valuable, cost-effective learning opportunities.

Past Mini-Forums have been held in partnership with the Association of Career Professionals International (ACPI) Toronto, the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Career Practitioners (NLACP) and Career Trek in Winnipeg, MB.
