CERIC has partnered with the Nova Scotia Career Development Association (NSCDA) for the first time to present a new webinar series – Strategies for Finding, Serving and Retaining Employers starting October 18.

Traditionally, career development practitioners have focused on helping their clients to develop the necessary skills to find and keep employment. In recent years however, career services organizations across the country are starting to focus on employer engagement. This webinar series will help practitioners with the skills to develop employer networks, which will have an impact on clients’ successful outcomes.

The webinar series includes:

  • Webinar #1: Employer Needs Assessment: Getting to Know Your Target Audience Tuesday, October 18, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm ET
  • Webinar #2: Employer Engagement and Retention for Young Jobseekers: What Does It Take? Tuesday, November 1, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm ET
  • Webinar #3: Employer Engagement and Retention for Persons with Disabilities: Breaking Down the Barriers Tuesday, November 15, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm ET
  • Webinar #4: Strategies for Finding, Serving and Retaining Employers in Hiring Immigrants Tuesday, November 29, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm ET

Participants are welcome to register for the full series ($159) or individual sessions ($45). A discount is available for NSCDA members.
