  • CERIC makes a difference in my work by keeping me relevant and connected to regional, national and international research, innovations and trends that affect Career Development in Canada. Personally, CERIC enhanced my professional potential by giving me an opportunity to join and, eventually, chair a few of their committees, which was (and still is) an important part of my continuous learning and connectivity to the world of work. CERIC is an organization that makes people better in countless ways.

  • I had the opportunity to serve on the board quite soon in the life of CERIC. I learned a lot from the staff and from the various experience of the other members of the board. It gave me the opportunity to learn more of what was going on in the field of counselling in my own province and as a manager of a mentoring program at LA FONDATION DE L’ENTREPRENEURSHIP, I had the opportunity to learn from other experiences in Canada and to share our own who was quite successful in the province of Quebec. Thank you very much to the Counselling Foundation of Canada that gave me the chance to live that marvellous experience. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CERIC.

  • Relationships are key to the success of any organization. I have found that CERIC has provided the means for me to develop trusted relationships with people that I may never have crossed paths with. Those relationships remain strong even to this day. I have even had a colleague that I met at my first event with CERIC attend at an event I was at recently to chat with me. Relationships such as that are not developed overnight and can only be developed in an environment similar to the one that CERIC with each and every event that it manages. Happy 10th Anniversary and many more CERIC.

  • Congratulations CERIC on your tenth anniversary and the positive and far reaching impact you have had on career development in Canada and beyond. As a participant, it was easy to see why Cannexus quickly came to be THE career professional’s conference to attend. Despite economic up and downs, it continues to flourish based on having mastered the simple premise of giving career practitioners what they want and need; the opportunity to learn, share and collaborate in a great environment. As a presenter, Cannexus has inspired and motivated me to create new material and innovative approaches that I have often incorporated into my daily practice. We are very fortunate to have Cannexus in Canada and I wish Jaz and his team continued success and a very happy anniversary celebration to all at CERIC.
