Michelle Pidgeon est professeure agr\u00e9g\u00e9e \u00e0 la facult\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9ducation de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Simon Fraser. Chercheuse boursi\u00e8re sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e en enseignement sup\u00e9rieur, elle \u00e9tudie principalement l\u2019indig\u00e9nisme et l\u2019enseignement postsecondaire. Elle s\u2019int\u00e9resse en particulier aux facteurs de r\u00e9ussite des Autochtones dans les coll\u00e8ges et les universit\u00e9s. Dans le cadre de son travail, elle explore \u00e9galement les corr\u00e9lations entre les services aux \u00e9tudiants et la r\u00e9ussite des \u00e9tudiants autochtones (p.\u00a0ex. l\u2019exp\u00e9rience, le recrutement et la fid\u00e9lisation des \u00e9tudiants). Sa mission professorale se caract\u00e9rise par la passion de mieux comprendre les processus de recherche et les protocoles d\u2019\u00e9thique autochtones dans divers contextes de recherche. \u00c0 l\u2019heure actuelle, Michelle exerce les fonctions de directrice du Centre for the Study of Educational Leadership & Policy (CSELP) \u00e0 la SFU et de r\u00e9dactrice en chef du Canadian Journal of Higher Education<\/em>.
