Chestnut Residence & Conference Centre is a University of Toronto Residence. Located adjacent to the city landmark of Yonge and Dundas Square and directly north of the city\u2019s Financial District, Chestnut Conference Centre is in the heart of the downtown core. It is only a 10-minute walk from the Eaton Centre and within steps of shopping and entertainment districts.<\/p>\n

From St. Patrick Subway Station (southbound from Bloor northbound from Union Station on the University line)
\nWalking east on Dundas Street, passed Centre Street, Chestnut Street is at the 1st set of lights east of University Avenue.
\nTime: 2 \u2013 5 minute walk<\/p>\n

Onsite parking is based on availability and is $19 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, or $12 if you park by 9:00 am.<\/p>\n

Accommodation<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Guest rooms are available at the Chestnut Residence for a special summer rate of $99\/night plus applicable taxes. All rooms are private and feature an ensuite bathroom with amenities: http:\/\/www.chestnutresidence.utoronto.ca\/home.htm<\/a> Many other hotels are also located nearby.<\/p>\n

Continuing Education Credits<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada (VRAC) has approved 11 hours of Continuing Education Credits for the CERIC Summer Skills Academy seminars. VRAC verification attendance form<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) has approved 11 hours of Continuing Education Credits for the CERIC Summer Skills Academy seminars. CCPA Application for Continuing Education Unit Credit<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cancellation Policy<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Please note requests for cancellation to a Summer Skills Academy seminar must be made in writing. Email is preferred. Send the cancellation notice to: registration@ceric.ca<\/a>. Or fax to 416.923.2536. No refunds will be issued after July 22. Refunds will be issued within two weeks after receipt of the written notice. Exceptions may be made for registrants unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. serious illness). You are permitted to transfer the current registration to a colleague. Transfer requests must be received by August 13. An administrative fee of $20.00 may be deducted from any refund request.
