Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9par\u00e9 par le <a href=\"http:\/\/rquode.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Regroupement qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois des organismes pour le d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019employabilit\u00e9 (RQuODE)<\/a>, avec le soutien financier du CERIC et de l\u2019<a href=\"http:\/\/www.krg.ca\/fr\" target=\"_blank\">Administration r\u00e9gionale Kativik<\/a>. Il existe en version <a href=\"http:\/\/ceric.ca\/resource\/reference-guide-career-development-counsellors-working-inuit-clients\/\">anglaise<\/a> et <a href=\"\/?p=18109\">fran\u00e7aise<\/a>.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nCe guide a pour but d\u2019outiller les conseillers travaillant dans les communaut\u00e9s inuit ou avec des clients inuit, afin qu\u2019ils soient en mesure de cerner les particularit\u00e9s culturelles de leurs interventions, tout en am\u00e9liorant la compr\u00e9hension des principaux enjeux auxquels sont confront\u00e9s les Inuit en recherche d\u2019emploi.<\/p>\n<p>Il propose des strat\u00e9gies mettant l\u2019accent sur les actions \u00e0 privil\u00e9gier et les pi\u00e8ges \u00e0 \u00e9viter. Il se compose de quatre chapitres\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mise en contexte\u00a0: un r\u00e9sum\u00e9 du contexte, des principaux d\u00e9fis li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019emploi et de la culture inuit<\/li>\n<li>D\u00e9fis\u00a0: des pistes d\u2019action cibl\u00e9es selon 12\u00a0probl\u00e9matiques courantes<\/li>\n<li>Strat\u00e9gies\u00a0: 50\u00a0strat\u00e9gies et pratiques d\u2019intervention efficaces en situation d\u2019interaction avec la client\u00e8le inuit, r\u00e9pertori\u00e9es selon 11\u00a0th\u00e8mes<\/li>\n<li>Ressources\u00a0: des r\u00e9f\u00e9rences bibliographiques et d\u2019autres ressources pour permettre l\u2019approfondissement de th\u00e8mes ou de sujets vari\u00e9s<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Le Regroupement qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois des organismes pour le d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019employabilit\u00e9 (RQuODE) a produit ce guide dans le contexte de son implication dans la gestion des deux Centres Ivirtivik offrant des services d\u2019employabilit\u00e9 et de pr\u00e9employabilit\u00e9 aux Inuit de Montr\u00e9al et d\u2019Inukjuak (Nunavik). Cette nouvelle ressource s\u2019adresse aux conseillers (inuit et non inuit) qui interviennent aupr\u00e8s de clients inuit dans une d\u00e9marche de d\u00e9veloppement de carri\u00e8re, mais aussi aux intervenants d\u2019autres secteurs, comme les travailleurs sociaux et les enseignants.<\/p>\n<p>Elle comble une lacune, puisqu\u2019il n\u2019existait jusqu\u2019ici aucun outil cibl\u00e9 visant \u00e0 favoriser l\u2019int\u00e9gration et l\u2019emploi permanent des Inuit. \u00c9tant donn\u00e9 l\u2019ampleur des diff\u00e9rences entre les cultures inuit et eurocentrique, il semble essentiel d\u2019ancrer les services de d\u00e9veloppement de carri\u00e8re dans la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 inuit d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui. En dotant les professionnels du d\u00e9veloppement de carri\u00e8re de techniques d\u2019intervention et d\u2019outils judicieux pour cette client\u00e8le jeune et croissante, nous esp\u00e9rons contribuer \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer le bien-\u00eatre \u00e9conomique et social des communaut\u00e9s inuit de tout le Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Le CERIC <a href=\"\/?page_id=7070\">offre du financement<\/a> et d\u2019autres formes d\u2019aide pour l\u2019\u00e9laboration de ressources novatrices en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9veloppement de carri\u00e8re.
