Tant au Canada qu\u2019en France, l\u2019utilisation de cet outil est devenue primordiale dans l\u2019intervention aupr\u00e8s des adultes. Elle a consid\u00e9rablement influenc\u00e9 les professionnels de l\u2019accompagnement, notamment Mme Patricia Dionne et Mme Ginette Beaulieu du Centre d\u2019orientation et de recherche d\u2019emploi de l\u2019Estrie (COREE) (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.orientationemploi.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.orientationemploi.org<\/a>), ainsi que Mme Guylaine Michaud de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.usherbrooke.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.usherbrooke.ca<\/a>). \u00c0 cet effet, Septembre \u00e9diteur a r\u00e9cemment publi\u00e9 l\u2019ouvrage \u00ab Le bilan de comp\u00e9tences : regards crois\u00e9s entre la th\u00e9orie et la pratique \u00bb (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.septembre.com\/livres\/bilan-competences-622.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.septembre.com\/livres\/bilan-competences-622.html<\/a>), r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par ces trois professionnelles de l\u2019orientation qui s\u2019inspirent de leurs nombreuses ann\u00e9es d\u2019exp\u00e9rience dans le domaine.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Ce programme de bilan de comp\u00e9tences s\u2019adresse aux professionnels pratiquant l\u2019accompagnement aupr\u00e8s d\u2019adultes d\u00e9sireux de conna\u00eetre davantage leurs comp\u00e9tences afin de s\u2019adapter \u00e0 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 du march\u00e9 du travail (r\u00e9orientation, insertion, r\u00e9insertion, adaptation, maintien en emploi). Le processus de transition chez l\u2019adulte conduit fr\u00e9quemment \u00e0 une d\u00e9marche de bilan de comp\u00e9tences dans le but de faire le point sur ses comp\u00e9tences, aptitudes et motivations pour ainsi prendre du pouvoir sur sa situation. L\u2019ouvrage pr\u00e9sente les concepts li\u00e9s au mod\u00e8le de bilan de comp\u00e9tences adopt\u00e9 par les auteures et praticiennes ainsi que des activit\u00e9s inh\u00e9rentes \u00e0 l\u2019application du programme. Les auteures consid\u00e8rent essentiel d\u2019adapter les moyens d\u2019intervention \u00e0 la client\u00e8le adulte puisque cette derni\u00e8re est en hausse. Elles dressent donc le portrait du march\u00e9 du travail au Qu\u00e9bec en regard du contexte \u00e9conomique, d\u00e9mographique, culturel et social. Le contexte actuel engendre, de mani\u00e8re volontaire ou non, l\u2019orientation tout au long de la vie et le d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences. Le bilan de comp\u00e9tences trouve sa place en ce sens. Le mod\u00e8le de bilan de comp\u00e9tences que proposent les auteures comprend trois phases dominantes, soit les phases r\u00e9trospective, prospective et de r\u00e9alisation, durant lesquelles la personne est amen\u00e9e \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper sa conscience r\u00e9flexive par l\u2019exploration, la compr\u00e9hension et l\u2019action. Des pistes d\u2019intervention sont sugg\u00e9r\u00e9es afin d\u2019aider la personne \u00e0 \u00e9voluer dans ce processus. Parall\u00e8lement, des activit\u00e9s sont propos\u00e9es en fonction des phases reli\u00e9es au programme de bilan de comp\u00e9tences. Celles-ci ont \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7ues dans une perspective de bilan de comp\u00e9tences en groupe, mais peuvent toutefois \u00eatre adapt\u00e9es dans le cadre d\u2019une d\u00e9marche individuelle. Elles sont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 expliquer le d\u00e9roulement et le mat\u00e9riel requis pour la r\u00e9alisation.<\/p>\n<p>Bien que le mod\u00e8le de bilan de comp\u00e9tences propos\u00e9 par les trois professionnelles de l\u2019orientation soit con\u00e7u, \u00e0 l\u2019origine, pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins de la population de l\u2019Estrie, il correspond manifestement \u00e0 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 du march\u00e9 du travail de nos soci\u00e9t\u00e9s contemporaines. La richesse du livre se trouve dans l\u2019alliance de la th\u00e9orie et de la pratique, union parfois n\u00e9glig\u00e9e. L\u2019ouvrage est marqu\u00e9 d\u2019une accessibilit\u00e9 linguistique et typographique permettant une lecture efficace des concepts \u00e9labor\u00e9s. Les \u00e9tudes de cas mises en lumi\u00e8re par les auteures alimentent notre compr\u00e9hension et nous informent quant aux contextes d\u2019exploitation du bilan de comp\u00e9tences. Ce livre pourra donc profiter aux intervenants du domaine de l\u2019orientation amen\u00e9s \u00e0 composer avec la client\u00e8le adulte.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Martine Hamelin<\/strong> est finissante au baccalaur\u00e9at en sciences de l\u2019orientation de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Laval.
