Une \u00e9quipe de chercheurs consacre environ cinq ans \u00e0 une nouvelle version. La derni\u00e8re version a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9e en 2004 et une version informatis\u00e9e est accessible en ligne pour la premi\u00e8re fois en fran\u00e7ais.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Le tiers des \u00e9nonc\u00e9s du livret de test sont de nouveaux items. Je vous en \u00e9num\u00e8re quelques-uns :<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>L\u2019entrepreneurship;<\/li>\n<li>La g\u00e9ographie;<\/li>\n<li>L\u2019\u00e9criture;<\/li>\n<li>Convaincre un jury;<\/li>\n<li>Motiver d\u2019autres personnes;<\/li>\n<li>Tenter sa chance sur une nouvelle id\u00e9e d\u2019affaires;<\/li>\n<li>Je pr\u00e9f\u00e8re accomplir des t\u00e2ches au sein d\u2019une \u00e9quipe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p align=\"left\">Le groupe contr\u00f4le est un \u00e9chantillon relativement repr\u00e9sentatif de travailleurs am\u00e9ricains. L\u2019\u00e2ge moyen du groupe est de 35 ans et le nombre total de r\u00e9pondants est de 2250 dont 1125 femmes et 1125 hommes. Pour cette nouvelle version, l\u2019\u00e9quipe de recherche a voulu non seulement un \u00e9chantillon repr\u00e9sentatif des femmes et des hommes du march\u00e9 du travail am\u00e9ricain mais aussi des races et des ethnies.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Les six th\u00e8mes professionnels g\u00e9n\u00e9raux (typologie de John L. Holland) sont homog\u00e8nes et constitu\u00e9s d\u2019au moins 21 items. La signification th\u00e9orique des trente \u00e9chelles d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eats fondamentaux est claire et la construction des \u00e9chelles est relativement homog\u00e8ne. Par exemple, l\u2019\u00e9chelle d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eats fondamentaux intitul\u00e9e Ventes inclut les items suivants : vivre de commissions de ventes; vendeur sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 d\u2019un type de marchandise; repr\u00e9sentant de commerce; directeur commercial.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Je vous nomme les dix nouvelles \u00e9chelles d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eats fondamentaux :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mat\u00e9riel informatique et \u00e9lectronique;<\/li>\n<li>Services de protection;<\/li>\n<li>Recherche;<\/li>\n<li>Formation des ressources humaines;<\/li>\n<li>Sciences sociales;<\/li>\n<li>Marketing et publicit\u00e9;<\/li>\n<li>Entrepreneurship; Imp\u00f4ts et comptabilit\u00e9;<\/li>\n<li>Programmation et syst\u00e8mes d\u2019information;<\/li>\n<li>Finance et investissement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"left\">La signification th\u00e9orique des \u00e9chelles professionnelles est assez obscure. Toutefois, la validit\u00e9 empirique est int\u00e9ressante. Ces \u00e9chelles mesurent le degr\u00e9 de ressemblance entre une personne et un groupe crit\u00e8re. Les auteurs ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de poursuivre la tradition et de construire de fa\u00e7on totalement distincte les \u00e9chelles pour les hommes et les femmes, ce qui permet d\u2019obtenir 244 \u00e9chelles.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Au Canada, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.psychometrics.com\/default.aspx?lang=fr-ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Psychometrics<\/a> offre des produits et des services en fran\u00e7ais dont le nouveau Strong. Cette entreprise a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un service intitul\u00e9 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.careerid.com\/careerid_fr.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CareerID<\/a> pour offrir des tests en ligne. Une personne, un organisme ou une entreprise peut obtenir une licence du site CareerID pour faire passer des tests en ligne.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Depuis le d\u00e9but du mois de janvier 2006, j\u2019ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 faire passer le nouveau Strong en ligne \u00e0 partir du site Career ID (abonnement n\u00e9cessaire). D\u00e8s qu\u2019une personne passe le Strong, le conseiller peut le faire corriger instantan\u00e9ment et recevoir un profil en format PDF. C\u2019est la beaut\u00e9 de ce syst\u00e8me.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">En comparant la version 2004 du Strong avec la version pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente, on constate plusieurs diff\u00e9rences. Voici quelques caract\u00e9ristiques de cette nouvelle version :<\/p>\n<h4 align=\"left\">Th\u00e8mes professionnels g\u00e9n\u00e9raux<\/h4>\n<p align=\"left\">Le RIASEC est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 en ordre d\u00e9croissant. Les descriptions fournissent des informations sur les int\u00e9r\u00eats, les activit\u00e9s au travail, les habilet\u00e9s possibles et les valeurs.<\/p>\n<h4 align=\"left\">\u00c9chelles d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eats fondamentaux<\/h4>\n<p align=\"left\">Parmi les 30 \u00e9chelles, 10 sont nouvelles. La pr\u00e9sentation des \u00e9chelles suit l\u2019ordre du RIASEC. Chaque famille est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e par ordre d\u00e9croissant.<\/p>\n<h4 align=\"left\">\u00c9chelles professionnelles<\/h4>\n<p align=\"left\">Les 122 \u00e9chelles, dont 48 nouvelles, sont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es selon l\u2019ordre du RIASEC et selon l\u2019ordre d\u00e9croissant. Les \u00e9chelles sont adapt\u00e9es en fonction du genre (homme ou femme).<\/p>\n<h4 align=\"left\">\u00c9chelles de style personnel<\/h4>\n<p align=\"left\">Apparition d\u2019une nouvelle \u00e9chelle intitul\u00e9e Orientation d\u2019\u00e9quipe. L\u2019\u00e9chelle Prise de risque est modifi\u00e9e pour r\u00e9duire l\u2019aspect de l\u2019aventure. La construction d\u2019\u00e9chelles bipolaires constitue l\u2019une des caract\u00e9ristiques de ces \u00e9chelles.<\/p>\n<h4 align=\"left\">R\u00e9sum\u00e9 du profil<\/h4>\n<p align=\"left\">Le r\u00e9sum\u00e9 se trouve \u00e0 la fin plut\u00f4t qu\u2019au d\u00e9but. Il inclut la section des pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences de style personnel. Il fournit les secteurs de moins d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat pour les \u00e9chelles d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eats fondamentaux. Il fournit cinq \u00e9chelles professionnelles d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eats diff\u00e9rents.<\/p>\n<h4 align=\"left\">R\u00e9sum\u00e9 des r\u00e9ponses<\/h4>\n<p align=\"left\">Les questions sont accompagn\u00e9es de cinq choix de r\u00e9ponses. La personne doit absolument fournir au moins 276 r\u00e9ponses sur 291 afin de corriger le questionnaire version papier. Les questions demandant de choisir entre deux activit\u00e9s et les pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences dans le monde du travail ont \u00e9t\u00e9 retir\u00e9es. L\u2019indice des r\u00e9ponses rares est remplac\u00e9 par un indice de conformit\u00e9.
