Il m\u2019\u00e9tait plus facile de faire face \u00e0 cette nouvelle r\u00e9alit\u00e9 en me disant que tout cela ne durerait qu\u2019un temps. J\u2019avais laiss\u00e9 un pot de beurre d\u2019arachide \u00e0 moiti\u00e9 fini dans mon tiroir et des chaussures sous mon bureau\u00a0\u2013 c\u2019est dire \u00e0 quel point j\u2019\u00e9tais optimiste (ou irr\u00e9aliste).<\/p>\n<p>Bien que, au d\u00e9but, cet \u00e9tat d\u2019esprit ait pu m\u2019aider \u00e0 accepter une telle transition, en r\u00e9trospective, je peux maintenant reflechir \u00e0 des strat\u00e9gies qui auraient pu m\u2019\u00eatre plus utiles au cours de ces premi\u00e8res semaines. J\u2019aurais pu r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir aux outils, aux soutiens et aux ressources dont j\u2019aurais \u00e9ventuellement besoin pour mieux g\u00e9rer le changement. J\u2019aurais pu penser \u00e0 l\u2019utilit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9tablir un plan pour moi-m\u00eame, tout en reconnaissant la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de faire preuve d\u2019une certaine souplesse, et me demander quelles comp\u00e9tences me serviraient alors que le CERIC devait changer ses fa\u00e7ons de travailler\u00a0\u2013 et quelles nouvelles comp\u00e9tences il me faudrait peut-\u00eatre d\u00e9velopper.<\/p>\n<p>Se conna\u00eetre, savoir s\u2019adapter et cultiver la r\u00e9silience sont des comp\u00e9tences essentielles pour g\u00e9rer tous les types de changement dans nos carri\u00e8res. Parfois, ces changements sont attendus\u00a0\u2013 la transition de l\u2019\u00e9cole au travail, par exemple\u00a0\u2013, alors que d\u2019autres fois, ils nous prennent par surprise\u00a0\u2013 comme une perte d\u2019emploi ou un d\u00e9m\u00e9nagement inattendu. L\u2019\u00e9tat d\u2019esprit dans lequel nous abordons ces exp\u00e9riences peut jouer un r\u00f4le d\u00e9terminant dans leur d\u00e9roulement.<\/p>\n<p>Dans ce num\u00e9ro du magazine <em>Careering<\/em> , nous explorons les nombreuses facettes des \u00e9tats d\u2019esprit de carri\u00e8re. Comme il n\u2019existe pas une seule d\u00e9finition de ce terme dans le domaine du d\u00e9veloppement de carri\u00e8re au Canada, nous avons laiss\u00e9 la porte ouverte \u00e0 l\u2019interpr\u00e9tation, et ce qui en r\u00e9sulte est fascinant. Les auteurs ont li\u00e9 ce concept \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents th\u00e8mes, comme l\u2019art, l\u2019exploration, les mentalit\u00e9s sociales, les croyances limitatives, l\u2019attitude fig\u00e9e et l\u2019attitude de croissance, la pens\u00e9e conceptuelle et le retour au travail. Ils nous parlent aussi de la fa\u00e7on dont ils utilisent le concept des \u00e9tats d\u2019esprit de carri\u00e8re pour soutenir les \u00e9tudiants, depuis les premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es d\u2019\u00e9cole jusqu\u2019aux \u00e9tudes sup\u00e9rieures, et comment il peut s\u2019appliquer aux nouveaux arrivants au Canada, au domaine du d\u00e9veloppement de carri\u00e8re, ainsi qu\u2019aux demandeurs d\u2019emploi \u00e0 toutes les \u00e9tapes de leur carri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>Alors, comment d\u00e9finir l\u2019\u00e9tat d\u2019esprit de carri\u00e8re? Est-ce une question d\u2019exploration et de r\u00e9flexion? S\u2019agit-il d\u2019un engagement \u00e0 continuer d\u2019apprendre tout au long de la vie, ou d\u2019avoir les comp\u00e9tences n\u00e9cessaires pour g\u00e9rer sa propre carri\u00e8re?
