Barbara Gustafson is a PhD candidate at the University of Saskatchewan in Educational Administration, researching the career transition of tradespeople who become teachers in postsecondary vocational settings. Her past education includes degrees in Education, English and a Masters of Business Administration.She is also a faculty member at the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST), serving as a Recognition of Prior Learning facilitator. Her work includes creating pathways for students from high school via dual credit, from volunteer and work experience to post-secondary via PLAR, and between post-secondary institutions through transfer credit.
