CERIC will once again be offering a series of roadshows, this time travelling within Ontario. The events feature Cathy Campbell, author of CERIC’s newly released book Career Crafting the Decade After High School: Professional’s Guide.

These roadshows are free events, designed to allow conversations between all who have a stake in the career development of youth, including educators, employers, community agencies, government and career practitioners. The goal of the roadshows is to allow individuals to:

  • Gain knowledge of the book’s findings and their implications for the career development of those in their teens and 20s;
  • Build a network of local individuals and organizations that are engaged in different facets of career development; and
  • Learn about some exciting initiatives, programs and services from CERIC that will be of value in their ongoing work.

The following dates have been confirmed for the Ontario roadshow series:

  • Kingston, ON, hosted at St. Lawrence College – Monday, October 5, 8:30 am – 10:30 am
  • Toronto, ON, hosted at CERIC’s office – Tuesday, October 6, 8:30 am – 10:30 am
  • London, ON, hosted at Fanshawe College – Wednesday, October 7, 8:30 am – 10:30 am

If you are located in one of these areas and would like to attend a roadshow, please contact Diana at diana@counselling.net for details. Seating is limited.

While the Halifax, NS-based Campbell is in Ontario, she will also be presenting at the Futures Youth Employment Conference on October 8 in Collingwood, ON.
