Graduate Student Engagement Program
CERIC encourages the engagement of Canada’s full-time graduate students whose academic focus is in career development and/or related fields through the Graduate Student Engagement Program (GSEP). Faculty members are asked to play a role in identifying appropriate graduate students.
Through the GSEP, graduate students will be introduced to CERIC and its programs and invited to compete for the CERIC Graduate Student Engagement Program Award, which provides funding to attend and present at the Cannexus National Career Development Conference.
One graduate student per year registered with CERIC under this program will be invited to join one of CERIC’s Committees. Students will also be invited to write articles for ContactPoint and/or OrientAction as well as The Canadian Journal of Career Development.
The program includes a contest held in alternate years for CERIC to publish a relevant thesis.
To encourage networking and collaboration among program participants, a dedicated LinkedIn group has been created.
