The Cross Canada Dialogues Survey seeks to understand the perception and experience of youth during the recent economic recession. This research will provide a unique perspective on youth career development and job seeking, guiding career practitioners, inspiring employers and informing policy development. An estimated 2000 youth will be surveyed.

Developed by First Work (www.firstwork.org) and funded by the Counselling Foundation, the Survey works with youth employment centre partners from across Canada. Agencies in the Prairies and the North are strongly encouraged to join this national initiative.

Partnering organizations recruit ten or more youth between the ages of 16 and 24 to respond to an on-line survey. A small financial incentive is provided.

Make sure the voices of your youth are heard! Contact Susan Kachmar at skachmar@oayec.org to learn how to participate.
