Norman Valdez, MA, FRSA is a technology and digital strategy leader who helps organizations harness data and artificial intelligence to empower communities and drive real-world impact. As Director of Technology and Design at CERIC, he advances digital transformation and leads the adoption of innovative platforms for career development in Canada. Norman is also an Emerging Technology Fellow with Community Foundations of Canada, CEO and co-founder of BrainTrainr (a non-profit advancing AI education for social good), and a Fellow of the RSA.
With a background in digital marketing and a Master’s in Information Systems, Norman is passionate about responsible AI, ethical tech and making innovation accessible and inclusive. He is committed to bridging the gap between technology and social impact, mentoring future tech leaders, and advising non-profits on how to use digital tools for good.
