April 29, 2015CERIC will be hitting the road this spring, travelling to Atlantic Canada to offer a series of networking meetings. The events will feature Cathy Campbell, author of CERIC’s newly released book Career Crafting the Decade After High School: Professional’s Guide.
These roadshows are inclusive events, designed to allow conversations between all who have a stake in the career development of youth, including educators, employers, community agencies, government and career practitioners. The goal of the roadshows is to allow individuals to:
- Gain knowledge of the book’s findings and their implications for the career development of those in their teens and 20s;
- Build a network of local individuals and organizations that are engaged in different facets of career development; and
- Learn about some exciting initiatives, programs and services from CERIC that will be of value in their ongoing work.
The following dates have been confirmed for the East Coast roadshow series:
- Charlottetown, PE in partnership with the Career Development Association of PEI – Monday, May 25, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Fredericton, NB in partnership with the University of New Brunswick – Tuesday, May 26, 8:30 am – 10:30 am
- Halifax, NS in partnership with Nova Scotia Community College – Wednesday, May 27, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
