January 22, 2025CERIC is excited to announce the 2025 calendar for its popular online certificate program, “An Intersectional Approach to Supporting Career Development,” offered in partnership with the Canadian Association for Supported Employment (CASE). This certificate program is designed to equip career practitioners and career professionals with the skills and knowledge to support diverse clients through equity-informed practices.
Building on the success of previous cohorts, the 2025 program will continue to address the critical challenges and opportunities in career development, with a focus on intersectionality, inclusivity and supporting BIPOC-D (Black, Indigenous, people of colour and people with Disabilities) communities.
Led by an experienced facilitator, this 6-week online program combines evidence-based insights with practical tools to help practitioners address the unique needs of individuals navigating systemic barriers in their career journeys.
Participants will gain:
- A deeper understanding of intersectionality and its impact on career development practices
- Practical strategies to create inclusive career services
- A supportive learning environment to collaborate with peers and industry leaders
The 2025 cohorts are now open for registration, with spaces filling quickly, as they only have 20 spots each:
