November 27, 2024
CERIC is pleased to announce that Mathew Zelensky, MA student in Educational Foundations at the University of Saskatchewan, is the recipient of the 2025 CERIC Graduate Student Award.
This award is presented annually to select full-time and part-time graduate students with an interest in career development. It provides free registration to virtual Cannexus, Canada’s Career Development Conference, and up to $1,000 to support travel and participation for Cannexus in-person. Cannexus offers a unique opportunity for networking and professional development in the field, as it promotes the exchange of information and explores innovative approaches in the areas of career counselling and workforce development.
Eligibility for the award is based on participation in CERIC’s Graduate Student Engagement Program (GSEP), which includes the submission of a one-page article on a career development topic. Read the award-winning article “Addressing bias in educational settings: Intersectional considerations” and all the thought-provoking submissions on CERIC’s GSEP Corner.
GSEP invites full-time and part-time master’s and doctoral students in Canada to get involved if their academic research explores career development or related topics.
Thinking of applying? The next round of applications for the Graduate Student Engagement Program opens in summer 2025.
