
Sareena Hopkins recognized for transformative leadership in career development with 2026 Wileman Award
February 3, 2026CERIC has published Volume 25, Number 1 of the Canadian Journal of Career Development (CJCD), featuring new research and practitioner-focused contributions that explore career development in a range of complex and evolving contexts.
This issue includes articles examining digital transformation in the public sector, career well-being among racialized professionals, rural inclusion, vocational well-being among moonlighters, and professional identity development among undergraduate students. It also includes research on career decision-making and a practitioner-focused section exploring career educator transitions and alternative doctoral pathways.
From the Editor’s Office
Editor Jennifer Browne of Memorial University of Newfoundland reflects on the January 2026 issue as both a time to recognize CJCD’s progress and to look ahead with optimism and determination. Browne highlights the past year as a period of growth and transition, marked by a renewed commitment to strengthening the journal’s role in promoting career development research and practice in Canada and beyond.
