May 4, 2015CERIC is pleased to announce the keynote speakers for Cannexus16, which marks the 10th anniversary of Canada’s largest bilingual National Career Development Conference. The conference takes place January 25-27, 2016 at the Shaw Centre in Ottawa and is expected to welcome 800 delegates.
Four game-changing keynote speakers will be sharing their experiences and insights:
- Spencer Niles – Dean & Professor, School of Education, The College of William and Mary
- Ratna Omidvar – Executive Director, Global Diversity Exchange
- The Honourable Justice Murray Sinclair – Chair, Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada
- Wab Kinew – Writer, Journalist, Honourary Truth and Reconciliation Commission Witness
Registration for Cannexus16 opens on May 19. In celebration of the 10th anniversary of Cannexus, the Super Saver rate will remain at $425 for a 3-day registration. Special rates are available for presenters, students, groups and members of supporting organizations.
Proposals are currently being accepted for Cannexus16 education sessions. Sessions can cover innovations and best practices in career counselling/coaching techniques, employment and training programs, employee recruitment and engagement, workforce planning and more. The application is June 12.
The Cannexus16 Opportunities Package has just been published, detailing opportunities for sponsors, exhibitors and advertisers to be part of the conference. Starting at $100, organizations can showcase their product, service or program to diverse delegates in the career services sector.
