
CJCD Fall 2025: Talent identification, credentialing & career readiness
September 10, 2025CERIC is pleased to announce the appointment of its Board of Directors and Advisory Committees for the 2025/2026 year. These dedicated leaders bring a breadth of expertise and perspectives to advance CERIC’s mission of championing career development in Canada.
Now in the second year of her two-year term, Meghan Lavallee, Executive Director of Apprenticeship Manitoba, continues as Chair of the Board. Lavallee is joined by a dynamic group of professionals from across the country who reflect the diversity and strength of Canada’s career development ecosystem.

In addition to the Board, CERIC has appointed members to its three Advisory Committees – Practical & Academic Research, Content & Learning, and Advocacy & Community Engagement – for the coming year. These committees play a vital role in shaping CERIC’s programs, publications and projects that build knowledge and strengthen the field.
A national charitable organization, CERIC advances education, research and advocacy in career counselling and development to increase the economic and social well-being of Canadians. Among its many initiatives, CERIC funds projects that produce innovative resources for career and employment professionals, publishes the Canadian Journal of Career Development, provides thought leadership through its CareerWise and OrientAction websites, and hosts Cannexus, Canada’s largest bilingual career development conference.
