Compensation: $20.00/hour for 35 hours/week
Location: Hybrid (Toronto) or Remote (Ottawa)
For remote work, we require that the individual have a reliable computer, good internet access and a dedicated (quiet) workspace. For hybrid work, workplace accommodations can be made. The Event Co-ordinator intern (Bilingual) assists the Manager, Events, Learning and Development and the Conference Coordinator in planning the annual Cannexus conference. Working collaboratively with the Manager, Events, Learning and Development and other CERIC colleagues, this individual works on logistical support to successfully execute the Cannexus conference (hybrid, virtual or in-person). The intern will have some knowledge of industry trends and a general knowledge of conference/event planning and development.
Additionally, this position is being funded in part by the Canada Summer Jobs program. As such, the hire MUST be:
