Employees must have dependable internet access and a dedicated, quiet and safe workspace to perform their duties effectively when working remotely.

Reporting to the Lead, Content, Learning and Development, the Learning Content Specialist (Intern) provides hands-on support for CERIC’s marketing, learning, and advocacy activities. This position assists with listicle updates for the CareerWise website, digital content updates, interest-holder research and outreach, and the coordination of Learning Hub and Resource Library offerings. The Specialist supports the promotion of CERIC’s projects, publications, and the Cannexus conference, ensuring quality and consistency in all communications while contributing to the effective day-to-day implementation of marketing and communications operations.
What We Look For
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to accurately support web postings, article updates, and listicle layouts.
A creative, proactive thinker with strong initiative who can work independently to clear task lists and collaboratively with colleagues on broader brand initiatives.
Awareness of the ethical and responsible use of AI-assisted tools in journalistic, communications, and marketing contexts.
Familiarity with designing digital assets (Canva), posting to social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook), managing data (SharePoint), and operating email marketing systems (MailChimp) is considered a strong asset.
