Association of Career Professionals International

The Association of Career Professionals International is the World’s Voice on Career Issues. With more than 2000 members we are represented in more than 30 countries around the world, regionally in Europe, North & South America and Africa and Asia Pacific.

Our members bring global expertise as owners or consultants from both independent practices, small and large career service firms, and as consultants inside organizations, universities or community based agencies. Working with organizations and individuals, our members specialize in all aspects of career services including career management and transition (outplacement), assessments, coaching, talent retention and organizational consulting.

Moving from our origin as an international association of outplacement professionals (IAOP) in 1989, renamed as career management professionals (IACMP) in 1994, and now in 2003 Association of Career Professionals International – we offer a wide range of competencies in a wider range of business and personal situations. All our members are bound by a code of ethical standards. Guided by highly recognized core competencies, we provide continuous professional development, marketing and networking opportunities for our members. In 2004 we celebrate our 15th anniversary as a professional association.
