AORCP – Association of Résumé and Career Professionals

The Association of Online Résumé and Career Professionals (AORCP) differs from other professional organizations by providing networking opportunities, certifications, professional development seminars, and conferences entirely online – a unique initiative that other career-related organizations do not offer.

AORCP’s mission is to assist its members in managing their businesses and clients through online communication and technologies by introducing and mastering asynchronous and synchronous methods including web cam technology, instant messaging, e-fax, e-groups, and e-mail, just to name a few.

AORCP’s specific concentration in online communications, technologies and best-practice methods on performing business via the Internet provides its members with cutting-edge online communication and business practice information, to ensure the delivery of the highest quality of services to the public.

With a membership that spans the globe, AORCP is a virtual community open to all Internet-based career coaches and résumé writers who work with their clients utilizing online technologies, as well as those that aspire to do so.

AORCP provides members with the opportunity to network on both a professional and personal level, and foster professional development and business growth. Specific benefits that AORCP offers to its members, including the following:

The Canadian Career Information Association/Association canadienne de documentation professionnelle is an organization that brings together career practitioners who share a common interested in the development, dissemination and use of career resources.

CCIA/ACADOP promotes excellence in career information by sharing new resources, defining the function of career information within the career development process, encouraging the development of effective delivery of Canadian career information, organizing and presenting professional development workshops, participating in partnerships with other organizations concerned with career information.

Members will tell you they enjoy the 4 Professional Development meetings each year and excellent speakers through our ‘Good and Cheap’ series. It is an informal group who takes every opportunity to network with each other.
