CERIC has launched an online survey to gain an accurate picture of the career services community in 2011. The survey delves into research and education issues as well as career competency and mobility. Findings will help CERIC better understand the interests and challenges as well as professional development and information needs of career service professionals.

Goals:

• Understand the shifting landscape of career services and the profile of today’s career service professional
• Identify the current challenges facing career service professionals and the new approaches to career development that interest them most
• Examine the professional development and information needs of those employed in career counselling and career development

We will share preliminary findings with you at the Cannexus12 conference held January 23-25 in Ottawa. Other findings will be included in our Bulletin newsletter and ContactPoint website throughout 2012.
