March 25, 2015CERIC looks at Vocational Education and Training in Canada and Prior Learning Assessment Recognition, as the topics for its latest literature searches. Vocational education focuses on individuals in school for a specific trade, while prior learning assessments take previous education and/or life experiences into account when considering whether or not someone can obtain credit in a specific area.
There are a total of 29 CERIC literature searches now available, including Parental Involvement in Career Development, Learning Disabilities in the Workplace, Career Development Challenges Facing Immigrants and Women in Non-Traditional Careers.
The literature searches feature comprehensive listings of key research and articles in career development, highlighting critical points of current knowledge.
Literature searches are of great use if you are researching the latest thinking or proven best practices. They are also valuable if you are considering a submission to CERIC for project partnership funding to gain an overview of major work already done in your area of interest.
