June 10, 2015You only have until this Friday to get your proposal in for Cannexus16! We welcome submissions that explore innovative approaches in career development. With 800 delegates expected, this is an excellent opportunity for you to profile your research, promising practice or expertise.
The bilingual Cannexus National Career Development Conference will take place January 25-27, 2016 at the Shaw Centre in Ottawa. Conference delegates can listen to four inspirational keynotes and choose from more than 130 education sessions. Delegates can also deepen their learning by attending the intensive pre-conference or post-conference workshops.
Several themes have been identified to assist presenters in targeting the content of their sessions, including:
- Effective Career Counselling/Coaching Techniques
- New Technology/Tools/Trends
- Aboriginal Career Development
- Self-Care for Career Professionals
- Marginalized Client Populations
- Career Education K-12/Post-Secondary
- Employee Recruitment/Engagement
- Workforce Planning and Development
- Career Development for Mature Workers
