Cultural influences on impression management: A focus on internationally educated engineers
April 8, 2016The path to executive: What’s different for women
April 19, 2016CERIC will be hitting the road again this spring, travelling to various locations across Canada for a series of networking breakfast meetings, where attendees will be introduced to CERIC’s programs and learn about key findings from the CERIC 2015 Survey of Career Development Professionals.
Roadshows are inclusive events, designed to allow conversations between all who have a stake in career development, including educators, employers, community agencies, government and career practitioners. The goal of the roadshows is to allow individuals to:
- Participate in a two-way dialogue around the survey findings and their implications for needs/gaps in terms of career development and how CERIC can help in addressing these;
- Build a network of local individuals and organizations that are engaged in different facets of career development; and
- Learn about some exciting initiatives, programs and services from CERIC that will be of value in their ongoing work.
The following dates have been confirmed for the spring roadshow series:
- Toronto, ON – April 20, CERIC Office
- Edmonton, AB – April 29, University of Alberta
- Windsor, ON – May 12, University of Windsor
- Halifax, NS – May 16, Dalhousie University
