New CERIC study identifies “impressive” post-secondary career service models

May 8, 2017CERIC is pleased to announce the keynote speakers for Cannexus18, Canada’s largest bilingual National Career Development Conference. Cannexus is designed to promote the exchange of information and explore innovate approaches in the areas of career counselling and career development. The conference takes place January 22-24, 2018 at the Shaw Centre in Ottawa and is expected to welcome 1,000 delegates.
Three exciting keynote speakers will be sharing their experiences and insights:
- Chantal Hébert, National Affairs Columnist, Toronto Star
- Spencer Niles, Dean of Education, The College of William & Mary
- Zarqa Nawaz, Creator, Little Mosque on the Prairie
On Wednesday, May 24 Super Saver registration for Cannexus18 launches, offering both 3-day ($450) and 1-day ($225) packages. Special rates are available for presenters, members of supporting organizations, students and groups.
The Cannexus18 Call for Presenters is still open. Sessions can cover innovations and best practices in career counselling/coaching techniques, employment and training programs, employee recruitment and engagement, workforce planning and more. The submission deadline is June 9, 2017.
