Cannexus National Career Development Conference two weeks away; still time to register
Cannexus is Canada’s largest bilingual National Career Development Conference and will take place January 22-24, 2018 in Ottawa. The conference will bring together 1,000 professionals from education, community, government and private sectors to exchange information and explore innovative approaches in career development.
The Final Conference Programme is now available online, featuring:
- Three outstanding keynote speakers – Chantal Hébert, Spencer Niles, and Zarqa Nawaz
- 150+ education sessions on the latest research, trends and best practices in career development for students to adults
- Launch of three new CERIC publications: Bridging Two Worlds: Supporting Newcomer and Refugee Youth, The Early Years: Career Development for Young Children, Computing Disciplines: A Quick Guide for Prospective Students and Career Advisors
- An Exhibitor Showcase with 40+ booths as well as three “zones” exploring Mental Health, Reconciliation and Social Enterprise
- New additions for 2018 that include a Workforce Development Spotlight on meeting employer hiring needs while improving employment opportunities for vulnerable populations.
Registration remains open with discounts for groups and students. Optional skill-building pre-conference workshops can also be added.
