CERIC announces next call for project proposals; deadline Sept. 2
July 30, 2025CERIC is now accepting applications for its 2025–2026 Graduate Student Engagement Program. This initiative supports the professional and academic development of master’s and doctoral students undertaking career development–related research in Canada.
Building on recent updates to the program, both full-time and part-time students are eligible to apply. The goal of the program is to better connect the next generation of career development researchers to the broader field, while equipping them with support to disseminate their research and expand their professional networks.
Graduate students accepted into the program will:
- Contribute articles to Careerwise website and the Canadian Journal of Career Development
- Attend and engage with peers and professionals at Cannexus, Canada’s largest career development conference, along with presenting a poster of their research
- Participate in a community of practice with fellow graduate students and researchers
- Join one of CERIC’s Advisory Committees
- Be profiled on the CERIC website and through social media
Students from diverse disciplines – such as career development, counselling psychology, adult education, sociology, human resources and beyond – are encouraged to apply if their research relates to career development.
Applications are open now for the 2025–2026 cohort. The deadline to apply is October 31, 2025, and successful candidates will be announced in early December. Consult the details and how to apply.
