New cohorts for Intersectional Career Development certificate program announced; first cohort starts Jan. 26

As professionals across the career development sector plan for the year ahead, CERIC is offering a new learning opportunity focused on inclusive, intersectional practice. In partnership with the Canadian Association for Supported Employment (CASE), CERIC is launching a 6-week Certificate Program: An Intersectional Approach to Supporting Career Development, with the first cohort beginning January 26, 2026.

Designed for career development practitioners, employment counsellors and workforce professionals, the program builds practical, equity-informed skills to support Black, Indigenous and People of Colour communities who experience disability (BIPOC-D). Participants engage in facilitated online learning that combines foundational concepts of intersectionality with applied strategies that can be integrated directly into professional practice.
