CERIC has published its 2025 Annual Report, Meeting the Moment – Career Development in a Disrupted World of Work, documenting a year of expanded reach, new learning infrastructure and deepened advocacy for career development as a public good.
The report reflects a pivotal year for the organization – a year that marked the culmination of one strategic plan and laid the groundwork for its next chapter. The report is organized around two strategic mandates: promoting career development as a priority for the public good, and building career development knowledge, mindsets and competencies among those who support Canadians through learning, work and transition.
Looking ahead, 2026 marks the launch of CERIC’s 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, with a continued focus on government and employer engagement, accessible and competency-based learning, and career development’s role in helping Canadians navigate a rapidly changing world of work.
