The Winter 2021 issue of Careering magazine will be on the theme of “Social Justice.” New contributors are welcome, and can submit in English, French or both languages. Please review our Submission Guidelines and send a 1-2 paragraph proposal outlining your topic idea to Editor Lindsay Purchase, lindsay@ceric.ca, no later than October 9. Topic areas may include, but are not limited to: advocacy & career development; career development as a tool for social justice; decent work; diversity, equity & inclusion; impact of COVID-19 on equity-seeking groups & economic/workforce recovery; labour issues; reaching populations underserved by career development; social justice competencies; structural & systemic barriers facing students & jobseekers; supporting the agency of clients in their career development; and the intersection of career services & movements such as Black Lives Matter.
